When preparing for the Hollywood shoot, my boss and I discussed using analog to get a more authentic look to the photos. We decided that we would use his Pentacon six, which is a GDR produced middle format 6x6 camera. Because neither of us had recent experience with developing B/W film, we decided to use Kodak Portra 400 and convert it to B/W in post. We shot a few frames of each model, and got some nice images. It was a fun experience, although I was still not committed to film I thought it would be fun to try more.
